This capability is exemplified by one of the largest mobility projects in Indra’s history: a landmark contract awarded by Transport for London (TfL) to manage and evolve the ticketing and access control systems across London’s entire public transport network. Acting as TfL’s strategic technology partner, Indra is responsible for the operation and continuous development of one of the world’s most advanced public transport ticketing systems, enabling more than 8.6 million journeys every day across the city.

Indra Group UK delivers advanced air traffic management solutions that support the safe, efficient and sustainable operation of UK airspace and airport environments. Our portfolio combines core ATM systems with surveillance, digital towers, communications and airspace modernisation technologies, built on decades of experience delivering mission‑critical solutions for complex air traffic operations.

This capability is anchored in Indra’s long‑standing partnership with NATS, the country's air navigation services provider, supporting the modernisation of UK airspace through programmes such as iTEC and the development of next‑generation digital airport tower systems. Its capabilities are further strengthened by Park Air, the specialist division for ground‑to‑air communications.

Trusted Defence technologies for the UK

Indra Group UK provides advanced defence technologies that strengthen the UK’s operational capabilities, with proven delivery for the Royal Air Force (RAF).

Our portfolio spans integrated air defence and surveillance solutions— including the Lanza 3D / LTR‑25 deployable long‑range radar used by the RAF and referenced in NATO contexts— and advanced training systems such as the E‑7 Wedgetail Operational Flight Trainer developed for Boeing and installed at RAF Lossiemouth. From counter‑UAS and next‑generation sensors to command‑and‑control systems (Airdef / COAAAS), secure communications and anti‑jamming/anti‑spoofing solutions, Indra supports mission readiness and resilient operations across complex defence environments.
